This is great content, but also some really interesting parallels and differences with UConn's offense.

The section on flow and the hi/los seems particularly applicable to us since we also play with 2 bigs. We do some similar hi-lo looks with Whaley (or more commonly Jackson) passing into the ducking Sanogo (see 2/8/2022 - UConn Men's Basketball vs. Marquette).

The Hoopvision content is awesome. There was a great one recently on how teams use heavy switching in man to man these days to prevent 3 point attempts

Bump. Great watch. Get jealous of watching that flow, read and react offense.
Was thinking the same. If he's not, would love to see DH encourage playing off of concept in practice. It would seem programs that identify with this style of play would be attractive to most recruits. Also of note, the high level bbiq of the Zag and U of A players to seamlessly play off each other in a really beautiful way. No ball stoppage and the flow creates clean cutting and rebounding lanes.

They will be dominant for awhile with Lloyd at the helm.

Arizona seems to have struck a pot of gold with Tommy Lloyd. How was this guy not scooped up years ago?
He was extremely loyal to Few. He had opportunities to leave in the past and never took them. Arizona seems like the perfect fit for him

Another really great HoopVision video just came out. Footage/summary of an NBA finals game every decade from 50s to today.

reader's digest version: bball seemed unwatchable from the 50s-70s. the players couldnt even dribble w/ their left hand. the spacing in the 80s improved with the intro of the 3 pt line but they still didnt really take advantage of it. the illegal defense rule in the 90s was absurd and scoring was way down during the '00s. basically bball has been at its best since the 2010s but they should now widen the 3 pt line in the corners (which would require widening the court a bit) since the shooting is so good.
