Certainly hope it's not illegal since Cole was calling Sanogo every day
Pretty sure it was mentioned that player to player communication isn't restricted the way coach to player communications are.

Coaches is unlimited too after sophomore year

  • June 15 after sophomore year: Coaches can call, email, text, direct message and correspond with athletes in any form of private communication. Calls from coaches to athletes are unlimited at this time except during dead and quiet periods.

Should have said regulated not restricted. Figured coaches are allowed to contact. But yeah I've never looked up the rules.

Creighton was one of those schools offering tons of cash for Brian Bowen. So while I was shocked they were named with the Arizonas of the world at the time, since then I just figure they are like a Bruce Pearl, etc. Nothing surprises me.

Creighton implicated

At the moment, international players will have trouble getting into the US unless travel restrictions are lifted or waivers to students are granted. I can’t see waivers just for athletes. Our own Canadian recruit has the same problem. Maybe some of them are riding this out here.

Not if they never left. Though I'd assume that most went home when their schools closed.

I guess not. From the Day article yesterday about recruiting remotely.

They're watching numerous presentations from college basketball coaches. So there's a lot of competition for their time and focus.

"There's pretty much unlimited contact with the number of phone calls," Moore said.
"It's just a question of how often do they want to get on with you. They're juggling a bunch of schools asking them.

"That's why you've got to be good at what you're doing when you have one of these kids and their families on one of these calls. If you're going to ask them for a half hour, 45 minutes or an hour of their time, your presentation better be good and they better get something out of it, or they're not going to probably want to get on it again with you."

24/7 really liked him and put Rati at #64 overall prospect for 2020. Him and our other recent international commit from Lituathinia being slotted in at #155 join the previously signed 4* center to give the Jays the 24th ranked class of 2020.

One scholarship left open for a transfer or maybe a project freshman. Losing Alexander was a big bummer, but hopefully these freshmen can help keep the Jays a Top 15 squad this season.

71. Wichita St--20. Xavier
75. Temple-----24. Creighton
88. UCF---------39. Gtown
90. Tulane------42. Butler
101. USF--------76. SJU
109. ECSU------83. Hall
130. Memphis--84. PC
131. Tulsa------113. Depaul
NR. SMU--------NR. Nova (but maybe the best team in the country)
