Mid-September: billed as North America's largest Oktoberfest-type celebration. The wife had a professional conference to attend the following Monday & Tuesday, so I was her And-1. We flew into Cinci from Bradley & arrived early afternoon on Saturday. Checked our bags at the hotel & walked down the street to the 'fest. Blocks of streets outside of the Bengals Stadium were cordoned off for the event, which lasted the whole weekend.
After the fest was over, we had two days of exploring various restaurants & brew pubs around the Great American Ballpark & central Cinci. We also visited the Underground Railroad Museum. We had pre-purchased tickets to a Reds- Cardinals game on Tuesday night & flew home on Wednesday. Very enjoyable.
