OT: CCSU @ University of Miami (9/25)

I'm hoping we put in an effort like we did at Eastern Michigan 2 years ago, but my head tells me we don't cover the spread.

We faced an NFL caliber QB last we who carved us up good. Ranked #15 in FCS, Southeastern Louisiana was led by a SEC transfer and had great weapons.

I think we are well prepared for the game, but don't have the horses to compete for 4 quarters. Hurricanes win 49-14

Just wondering ... now that UConn is an Independent and is no longer required to provide in-stadium updates for fellow AAC teams, what scoreboard updates, if any, are provided at P&W Stadium?

Other Independents (Army, UMass, etc)
In-state teams (CCSU, Yale, etc.)?
None?

Central defense getting shredded. Just don't have the athletes to compete.

Offense doesn't look half bad. A few first downs and some missed opportunities.

Despite all best hopes, we will be outclassed in this game. But we need the $650k to keep the lights on ...

Central's offense looks competent, despite being blanked. We've have moved the sticks and been balanced. Too many dropped passes, but we've found ways to get open. A few nice runs as well. No turnovers.

Defense just is outmanned. Can't compete with the athletes and speed Miami can out in the field.

A "win" would be a TD or 2 for the offense. I can't see how we stop them at all. They could put up another 49 if they wanted.
