Seattle U as @nwhoopfan knows is a private school of about 7,500 students. Annual tuition is $45, 000 and on campus housing adds $17, 000.

Per the trusted source Wikipedia this Roman Catholic (Jesuit) private school has an endowment of 250 million dollars.

Notable alumni include Elgin Baylor and Mohamed Alabbar, ’81, founder and chairman of Emaar Properties, one of the largest real estate companies in the middle east.

Cal Baptist did not play well, but found a way to win. One of their starters went down with an ankle sprain 2 minutes into the game and did not return. Still, no excuse not to play better. We shall see about today.

Grand Canyon is a private for profit religious college. Originally founded in 1949 in Prescott Arizona it moved to the valley and remained a small school of a thousand students until sold in 2004 due to financial difficulties. The stock trades on the NASDAQ under the symbol Lopes. Annual tuition is $16,700 and on campus housing like it's fellow college Cal Baptist is a relative bargain at 7,100 per year. Notable alumni include Tim Salmon.

With a campus of similar size to Seattle U and Cal Baptist as a for-profit College Grand Canyon pays approximately $10 million annually in property taxes. Of course neither Seattle U nor Cal Riverside pay property taxes to their communities due to non-profit status.

From that trusted source Wikipedia

2018 the university received approval to return to non-profit status from its regional accreditor as well as the IRS and the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education.[14] However, the U.S. Department of Education rejected the university's request to reclassify it as a non-profit and continues to classify the university as for-profit.[15][16] The university operations partner directly alongside the for-profit publicly traded corporation, Grand Canyon Education, Inc. (formerly Significant Education[17]) that bundles services for the university to operate. The university president, Brian Meuller, also serves as the CEO of Grand Canyon Education.

After the infusion of capital, Grand Canyon University's size increased. After having fewer than 1,000 students enrolled in 2008, the university had 17,500 students in the spring of 2017.[23] A 2015 economic impact study revealed that the university was adding about $1 billion into the state's economy each year during its expansion.[24] In February 2017, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey said that the neighborhoods surrounding the university have experienced a 30% increase in housing values while concurrently seeing a 30% decrease in crime rates.[25]

I think it's largely a commuter school. Been on campus briefly. It's right on the edge of downtown (Capitol Hill neighborhood). It's night and day difference compared to UW, even though they are only a few miles apart.

Need Cal Baptist to win. My other favorite undefeated team lost in Spain this morning. Dont want 2 undefeated teams to go down in 12 hours.

By the way, the ESPN+ announcers said yesterday that WAC tournament team will be winner of WAC Championship game(except CBU), if CBU loses in semi or final game. If CBU wins it all then Utah Valley goes, no matter how they do in tournament.

To quote Chandler Bing could it be any more confusing?
