A Brian Snowball for Xavier for wing Jusaun Holt.

A 6'6 200 wing from St. Francis Day School in Roswell, GA. 120th overall.

If he commits, Holt would be their third '21 recruit to add along with transfers Adam Kunkel and Ben Stanley. Very good '21 haul so far for Xavier and this would make it even deeper.

No relation to Emmitt Holt.

Thought this article about what Jay Wright looks for in recruits was interesting because it sounds similar to how Hurley recruits. Both programs know they're not getting a boat load of 5 stars so they look for certain characteristics in their recruits.

“We were told to look for the best combination of talent, character, winning pedigree and shooting,” said Howard. “That’s what we always looked for in every prospect.”

Howard continued, “Obviously you want to recruit a certain level of talent, but when you sift through it, you have to say who are the guys who can shoot the ball that are winners with good character. We used to call it having winning DNA.”

A new ball for Ryan Mutumbo and Georgetown. Obvious connections there.

#79 overall recruit and #13 center. If signed, he would be Georgetown's 4th recruit of '21.

Report from Evan Daniels:

Legit size with long arms and a sturdy frame. Has terrific hands & touch around the basket. Good feel as a passer out of the high post and on the block. Shot the ball from the mid-range area with confidence, and mechanics are fine. Impressive feel for the game and a high IQ. Good area rebounder and rim protector. Lacks lift, and just gets end-to-end OK. True low post player. Late bloomer with major upside. Son of Dikembe Mutombo.

247's most esteemed experts pointing Legend Geeter to Providence. #241 overall.

The Big East is acquiring talent while Providence is mere collecting high school graduates.

ON EDIT: Legend committed with Providence today.

Digging a little deeper with DePaul...

As it stands, DePaul has 13 scholarships committed to '21, however incoming sophomore Romeo Weems has pro aspirations.

Assuming everyone sticks around for the '21-'22 season, DePaul is rich with wings:
  • Returning Starters Darious Hall (6'7 215 SR) and Romeo Weems (6'7 215 JR)
  • Eligible sit-one transfer Courvoisier McCauley (6'5 205 junior, 21.5p, 5.4r, 2.8a, 1.3s, 46 3p% in D2)
  • Incoming freshmen #69 Keon Edwards (6'7 185), #87 David Jones (6'6 195), #104 Yat (6'8 185)
Could have some potential for position-less basketball.

Quick offer and commit it looks like he's a 45% 3 shooter so that makes sense for CU. 24/7 had him as high as 45th in the 2021 class in March of '19, but he has fallen a lot obviously. Has dealt with injuries and had surgery performed by Dr. Robert Anderson in Green Bay who has worked on a litany of pro athletes so hopefully he has all that worked out.
