Top 10 looks familiar. Yay for Wisc-Green Bay and non-BCS teams.

The first-place votes are more scattered. That's interesting. I think the writers' poll was 33 for Baylor, 6 for ND, and 1 for TAMU.

Sounds right. The coaches replaced St John's and UCLA with Wis-Green Bay and Michigan State. There are also some other differences in specific team rankings. As with the AP poll, this one will change early and often.

A Midwestern bias instead of a bi-coastal bias! :)

I like the Green Bay team. Cheeseheads!

Injuries may very well decide the NC and the rankings. They already have impacted the preseason rankings. I am not concerned about our ranking. In fact we could/should be ranked lower IMHO. Geno and the staff are going to be challenged again. The job accomplished last season, with the loss of CD for the entire season and Walker transferring, was incredible.
