Really?

Last comments I heard around here about her were all about supporting her with her disease.

Maybe you need to check your perception of this place.
what the heck are you talking about?

A very misleading stat. One can have a great game in a losing effort and be in the minus category. Or, can play as Maya did last night and come out +10. It's like the baseball player who strikes out four times, then hits a walkoff homerun to win the game in his fifth at bat.

Agreed. At one point, Anderson Verajao had the best plus/minus in the NBA in 2009-2010. It helped that he had LeBron James on his team and was playing significant minutes with him. That statistic alone does not make a person a better player.

And if you play a lot of minutes, but your team loses games, you will have a lower ratio.
