Wonder why strong defense is characterized as an ugly game. Devils up by one as Taya Hanson and Kate Leving's lead the Devils to 12 points. Sun Devils out rebounding the kitties and strong defense shows that the Devils have showed up in this rivalry game to end the season.

Bre Sanders the only senior on the Sun Devil's squad really exemplifies the type of athlete and person CTT recruits to ASU. it's really been exciting to watch her over the past 4 years from last off the bench for 2 years to providing leadership and mentorship to this very young Sun Devil team

edit irritating and embarrassing that the announcers continually confuse Iris Mbulito with Eboni Walker. Particularly when only one is in the game

Early in the second half we can see the impact of experienced talent. McDonald Thomas and Reese combined for more experience than the entire ASU roster.

Thomas's three forces CTT to call a time out. Thomas is the unsung glue on this kittie team. The depth of the kitties run in the dance I think rest on the shoulders of Thomas.

That's said Besselink is clearly reflecting a bright future for the Sun Devils. Kate Levings and Jadan Simmons join her in a core ithat certainly going to get the Sun Devils back in the pac 13 elite

I think the second half of the third quarter shows how important Sam Thomas is to this Kittie team when she's not playing offensively at her best the kitties do tend to suffer.

Devils end the third quarter on a run . The future is bright in Tempe.
