Liam Fuller is a 6-6 230lb TE/DL from Bishop McDevitt High School, Harrisburg PA. Other offers from Albany, Bryant, Bucknell, Buffalo, EMU, Fordham, Holy Cross, Kent State, Lafayette, Lehigh, Navy, New Hampshire, San Diego State, Stonybrook, and Towson

-> Fuller says the coaching staff, headed by former NFL head coach Jim Mora Jr., as well as the level of football, helped sell him on UConn.

“The people around campus, they were huge,” Fuller told PennLive. “Everybody up there was so good to me. And then the football. It’s big-time football. They’re in the works of joining a conference. It’s not a Power 4 school now, but I think down the road in my time there it will be.”

But the biggest thing is I’ve been up there three times and it kind of has that home feeling you can’t really explain. I want to be there, but it’s also where I need to be to be successful for myself, and build myself as a football player and person.” <-

-> He says he thinks he can see the field early starting in the fall of 2026. “They want me to go up there and be their true Y tight end,” Fuller said. “A lot of attached, in-line [formations]. But coach and the offensive coordinator told me I have the ability to do both, I have the athleticism to split out and the Y.”

“They think my potential is a very high ceiling. They think I can do everything within their offense... and they think I can play very early in the program.” <-

SEC invite confirmed.

-> Fuller was recruited by tight ends Coach Cole Peterson, offensive coordinator Coach Gordon Sammis, and Head Coach Jim Mora. He felt the offense fit his game well. "It reminds me of what we run at McDevitt," he said. Off the field, the school's academic programs and alumni network also stood out.

Fuller knew UConn was the place for him after the first night of his official visit. "I always kinda knew," Fuller admitted. The coaching staff played a significant role in his decision. "They gave me confidence I could play at a high level," he said. <-

Liam is an exciting pickup. Looking forward to perhaps seeing him on the field in the Fall 2026.
