USF transfer LB Davon Hicks is no longer UConn bound. It was just announced on Twitter that he's now committed to Washington St.

I guess we better understand what we really already knew when HCJM said in most recent article that even when we think we’ve got kids, when the P5 calls, some kids jump.

Based on best available info we are full at 85 scholarships right now or one over if the Illinois DL is coming. So to add the Illinois DL we need to free one spot and to replace Hicks at LB free up a second spot. Creating these spaces could come from deferring an incoming freshman to January.

It will be interesting to see who reports to campus this summer.

Thanks @UC1995 - the 2023 list of offers/commits ran so high that it exceeds the character limits for posting here so I can’t update the 2023 UConn Offer/Commit List Only list. I did a workaround and separated out just the UConn Commits for tracking.
