Excellent excellent excellent news. 6’5 310- EXACTLY what we need at DT to replace Jones.

Front 7 still need work- linebacker in particular worries me. But this is a great great start

Don't worry about the LB's. All the defense will have to do is make stop here and there. The offense will be moving the ball well this year.

Another SC DL to add to Gourdine and Watts- hmmmm

Big loss for ODU, big gain for UConn. Provides an instant replacement to Travis Jones.

Fantastic news! Sokoya has a chance to step in and contribute right away with a full Spring and Summer session to adjust to new surroundings and find some workout buddies. We'll need to focus on helping these guys transition in academically and socially so there's not too much on their plates initially. It's a new dynamic with the number of transfers and it's going to require human resources and administrative flexibility to help the new guys be successful.

This kid and the All-Ivy OG from Dartmouth may be the two most immediate impact incoming. Maybe the 6-5 WR too. We still need a QB to emerge and a solid few pieces on OLine; but the interior DT has a good answer today

Very very nice. Sounds like a great rotational piece for the d line with maybe the ability to push pocket in passing downs? That would be a nice benefit.

I haven’t been blown away by most of the transfers brought in. But Guidone on the O Line and McDuffie on the D Line will have immediate positive impact. Let’s get a few more in the trenches!

You're on the money about helping the transition but, hopefully, because he's not a newbie to college it will be easier for him and the other transfers.
