So here are the teams in the field. NCAA College Football Coaches Poll | USA Today Sports

So it is a minimum of 25 teams (39 in total), I will have a receiving votes tournament whoever wins out from all those teams plays the 25th team in order to get into the 25 team field, then teams 25-18 play each other the winner plays the 17th team winner of that plays the 16th team then if you win that your reward is Bama.

So teams 1-15 get an automatic spot into the 16 team playoff, teams 18-24 automatic spot into 25 team playoff. Lowest seed plays highest seed as they advance so there is an advantage to being ranked higher and a severe disadvantage being ranked lower.

I’ll start the tournament later. I guarantee this will be more exciting then the 4 team playoff.

Ok so starting off with the receiving votes tournament I have to cut it from 12 to 8 teams in order to have an even number so will have the bottom 4 play each other so here goes. I’ll give the scores then you can click on the link to check the stats.

I might be the only one in favor the 2-team BCS. To me, the CFP is helping to ruin college football.

not the only one. Some great games like the Rose showed what college bowl games can be.

I half-agree with you. The current 1/2 a$$ed model is a joke. Either go full playoff model like every other level of football seems to be able to manage or go back to the old AP/UPI beauty contest. At least then the powers that be couldn't use the current nonsense system for cover.
