Massachusetts Hockey Readies For Home-And-Home With #13/16 UConn - University of Massachusetts Athletics

The Minutemen will host the Huskies on Friday night at 7 p.m., travel to Storrs Saturday for a 4:30 p.m. matchup.

Both teams have lost four straight to Hockey East teams. UMass is not UMass of the last couple seasons but they are still dangerous.

UConn needs one or more of their best players or anyone to make a statement this weekend. Tverberg, Salminen, Wood. I hope one or more of them shows this weekend.

Tverberg’s last non empty net goal came on November 12th. The team needs him to get it going.

Important to get some momentum going so UConn can work towards capturing a top four seed in the Hockey East playoffs.
