Not a lot of confidence that the Ducks will finally show up offensively. Likely a low scoring dog fight but the result will tell me quite a bit about how this season will finish out.
As "Jonson" posted in another thread it is getting harder to claim this team is a "work in progress" when there has been so little obvious progress.

A defensive struggle favors the kitties I think. I'm actually looking forward to this game. In the back of my mind I'm thinking the winner would face Stanford if a conference tournament is held. It would be my hope and expectation that cooler heads will prevail and not have a conference tournament this year.

Even as a Duck fan I voted for Arizona above. Everyone is timid on offense right now.

Arizona 28-26 at the Q2 media TO. McDonald can't hit the broad side of a barn but Reese is going nuts w/ 14 points.

Both of these teams are capable of beating UConn or South Carolina.

It's been a fun game so far in contrast to the other one.

I am yet again completely underwhelmed. There is truly no #1 team this year, not even a #2 team.

Reese having probably her best game of the season, 23 pts on 10-13 shooting. Cats have their biggest lead at 54-43.

Honestly, Oregon just looks outclassed, and a big part of that tonight is the big game Cat Reese is having. Oregon just doesn't have any answers, and I'm not sure how big a difference having Chavez back would make.

I think some of the Pac-12 has struggled with consistency due to missing players, having to be on the road full time (Stanford), or having multiple pauses. I'm not really sure what to make of it all.

Honestly, I think it's hard to replicate the culture that the team had last year when you essentially start from scratch, let alone the talent that was on that Oregon squad.
