Pretty cool to roll into Storrs for two seasons, win the whole thing twice and then bounce. Kind of an unassailable legacy. Unreal for Clingan as a Connecticut kid. The stuff of legends.
Has apparently retained counsel to pursue a waiver to play one more year. I haven't looked at this all that closely but my understanding is that his situation is comparable to Spencer's. Will be interesting to see what happens if he's successful.
I don’t watch a ton of the women but the dude can still coach. 5 or 6 season ending injuries and he just beat USC to get back to the Final Four. I believe that’s trip #23.
Incidentally, watch ten minutes of a women’s game and you’ll never complain about officiating in the men’s game again.

As someone pointed out on the Marquette board, this is either going to be awesome or horrible. I'm basically non-functional with the amount of superstitions...
Instagram star Mikey Williams has entered the transfer portal after resolving his criminal case and not playing a second for Memphis. What an odd yet somewhat predictable story. Fayetteville perhaps? Or maybe straight to the G-League next year?
So I inadvertently recorded a few episodes of the All Access on Showtime for the Tank Davis / Ryan Garcia fight. I know a little bit about both of these dudes but always thought of Garcia as more of an internet star than anything else. I am not remotely plugged into boxing these days.
I know...
There were only 22 fouls called that game - the fewest number for any game in the entire tournament. Neither team was in the bonus at any point. For a game that was basically rugby that's incredible.
In the St. Mary’s game UConn turned the ball over when Karaban ran the baseline (out of bounds) and then took a dribble handoff after stepping back in bounds.
In the Alabama game a dude from San Diego State just jumped out of bounds to save the ball, saved it to a dude who was himself falling...
Ts and Ps to all of our Boneyard brothers and sisters affected by this loss. Hopefully the team rallies around us in our hour of need.

I’m not a doctor and I don’t work for the Dolphins so I can’t say he had a concussion 5 days ago when his legs buckled after he got up after a hit where it looked pretty clearly like his head bounced off the ground and he had to be helped off by his teammates . . . but that _____ tonight was...
I used to be pretty into boxing but I haven’t followed the sport much the last few years. I know there are some on here who do, so to them: is this fight worth buying? Does a 40 year old GGG have a shot?
I am way too busy at work to drink this much during the week. And for those questioning the strength of my pimp hand I begged off doing the dishes to watch this . So there.
The Hurley ejection was clown stuff from that official. Absolutely unacceptable. The first tech was fine but use...
If past is prologue this game is going to be played at Villanova's pace. I don't see us finally forcing a team to play our preferred style against a team this well coached. So. Long possessions, they're going to have to score in the half court. I'd like to see Hurley start one of Hawkins or...
Jalen Suggs is a stud, he'll have a great NBA career. Kispert got absolutely swallowed up by Baylor's athletes. That double dribble was emblematic. That ain't Santa Clara or Loyola Marymount on the closeout. Timme was fine, I guess.
Props to Baylor. Locked in defensively and some studs...
I think I’ve watched just about every UCLA game this season. At no point would I have predicted they had this in them. Granted, Alabama may very well win this game, but it’s fun to see a team that was pretty unremarkable all year cooking like this when it matters.
I have zero problem with them getting handled by a better team, but to not even be competitive with a team that mediocre was tough to watch. Honestly, I'm mystified. Maybe beating up on the DePauls of the world made them look better than they are, but that was never a game. Maybe I'm crazy...
Were we on a COVID pause for the last week? Serious question. Is this what gameplanning looks like?
These final four sleeper threads and pretty much every McLovin post look pretty moronic right now. We are getting our pants pulled down by a team that is completely unremarkable in every way...
What do we think? I haven't watched a ton of college football this season but I'm surprised to see Ohio State getting 9. That seems way too high to me against this Alabama squad.
Still my least favorite official in college basketball. Guy loves being the show. Now I have something else in common with Andre Jackson besides the fact that my mom grew up in Amsterdam.
Hate to revisit a subject that's been litigated a bunch, but due to an age-induced near explosion of our prior grill this past weekend I'm in the market. I know several people who swear by these things - the main selling point seems to be the versatility. What are peoples' experiences with...
This is an interesting read. Curious what people think about the tactical stuff.

. . . and the increasing likelihood that the tournament will be cancelled, I am comfortable adding a fifth national championship to the UConn Huskies' resume.
