Had AK shot it lights out during the NCAA tournament - he's a 1st rounder.
He still might catch a team in the late 1st round (Celtics or Knicks) but overall, I feel he will be coming back for 1 more year.
I wish him the best but quite obviously he is not convinced himself which way to go so the...
If you watched him play over 30 times you wouldn't say such negative things about him.
Cam had the worst man on defense on the UConn team - Tristen being a close 2nd.
I'll take either player but you are way off on Brea - calling him a negative is ridiculous.
He was sixth man of the year in the...
Unreal
Since 2020 Census there hasn't been at least 1 person from the Dominican Republic who has walked across the border and settled in Kansas or taken a red eye under the radar flight to Kansas.:p:cool: ?
TBH - if he wants to play at the highest levels, I doubt it will make much of a...
To hell with ND
They are poison to whatever conference they are affiliated
They act like they are the chosen one but their athletic program isn't as powerful as they see it.
No thanks to the egotistical Notre Dame.
DH has done a really nice job these past 2 years but if there isn't a portal I doubt there's is back to back. Nearly all teams playing in the big BB conferences enhanced themselves greatly so you can't say it only helped UConn but one would be ignorant to think it wasn't a very big factor. It...
As long as Scheyer is the coach, Dook will always start with a handicap.
Ex coaches picking their replacements can be shaky.
BUT please no KO bashing......................................
The BYers, DH. Mrs, DH - none of us really know what DC is thinking or leaning. Maybe DC doesn't even know himself for sure.
This is something he will decide with the help of his father, DH, and NBA feedback.
If he goes great - if he stays great
It's one or the other
Insurance money isn't going...
He hits them in practice and warm-ups. He takes them in practice scrimmages under pressure and makes a good percentage of them. Pro scouts go to UConn practices and see he can shhot the 3.
Just because you dont see it doesn't mean it isn't happening.
I love Stephon and have followed him for the last 3 years,
Ben G was like a bulldog with the finesse and agility of a ballerina. He would have held his own vs SC as he did with bigger guards in the OBE.
Was it Xavier, the program that welcomed one of the biggest cheaters back as their coach, the school that coordinated UConn rejoining the watered down NBE?
I think I missed that news story.
The NBE wanted UConn to appear as a relevant conference again.
UConn cannot stay in the NBE
Ignorance thinks they should.
The conference hurts other sports at UConn and the school will never get out of the financial hole it is in without the payouts the big boy conferences provide.
BTW - UNC was a 1 seed this post season. UConn would have won the ACC this...
It was a great victory and a continuation of dominance that this team has become known for and will be for a while.
IMHO - I thought Stephon should have been the MOP of the FF. Not only was he a dagger to Alabama but his defense vs the opponents best quarterback in both matchups was phenomenal...
1. UConn has the championship game experience which is a much bigger deal than many think.
2. Refs need to let them play.
3. 1-4 UConn is better than Purdue 1-4
4. Outrebound and fast transition - tire the opponent
I may be in the minority, but I am not nervous at all. Purdue hasn't seen a team...
Edey has had a problem this tournament of having the ball swiped when he dribbles or brings it down low - UConn needs pesky but smart hands.
The key will be; can UConn tire Edey out? To do so they need to run.
Edey may average 35 minutes a game but not at a UConn pace.
Of course, the refs can't...
DC is a better defensive 5 over Edey, convincingly
Edey is better offensively but he hasn't played against the two headed monster of DC and SJ
Run him into the ground
