    Can I just start a mantra ?

Fans of the Defending National Champions do not storm courts following regular season home wins over conference rivals.

If this is something we're debating Saturday around 11 p.m. we'll all be very happy.

I agree with that. But good luck talking students into that at the game.

    DOOOOOOOOOOOMMEDDDDDD!!!!

I agree that we should not storm the court as well.

HOWEVER, if its an emotional/close win, the place will be rocking.... I don't see people NOT rushing.

Since 3/4 of the student body has experienced a National Title and 1/4 has experienced that and a final 4 I would hope that we are smart enough not to storm and give Syracuse that much respect.

If we win and the students want to storm the court- why not? I know it is cheezy but I can only hope the top of our list of problems on Sat have is - "we stormed the court after beating Quse".

    DOOOMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well we stormed after we beat Texas and then we had the ultimate let down game at Providence.

Having said that, if history repeats itself we will be Cuse and then lose to Providence on the road.

I agree we should not storm the court if we win. Kevin Duffy tweeted yesterday that he thinks the students have to rush which I found surprising. We are the defending champions like you said and therefore we should not be rushing no matter how emotional a win is.

I was front row for the Texas game and didn't really think we should storm the court. Having said that, the place was rocking so much that it seemed like stopping the students from storming would be impossible. So in the end, I was the first one on the court followed closely by the rest of my group that hurdled the table all the scouts were sitting at.

My feelings for the Cuse game are the same. We are UConn, we just won a National Title, we shouldn't be storming the court on anyone. However, as a student who will be waiting outside Gampel for somewhere in the area of 60 hours for the game, if we get that W emotions will probably tell me "screw it, we're storming." In the end, storming the court isn't something that needs to make sense. It's an emotional decision made when the time comes.

I think it's ok, based on a few of factors......we are reeling, we are unranked, and this punches our ticket for the big dance. The fact that we are defending national champs is an interesting dynamic. (I'm sure all of the joker hacks like doyle will hammer the fans after the game but who cares)

Listen, it's not like a couple of years ago when #1 uconn lost @ #2 nova and they stormed the court. That was embarrassing.
