I recently acquired a copy of the 1947 UConn Nutmeg yearbook. Walt Dropo didn't just play 3 sports, he was a star on the baseball, football and basketball teams. He must have been a heck of an athlete to not only play but be a star in all three sports. Well before my time as I am an "88" grad, but very cool nonetheless.

I would be happy to post some of the content if someone describes how to post photos.

Still not as good an athlete as Andre Drummond.

Thanks TCF. I will give it a try though. Pages are 71 through 78 for all three sports.

Too bad he played for the Dead Sox. I believe he holds the Major League record for consecutive hits, twelve.
