Well folks, I don't even know what to say about this team anymore. Coming off a game where they left about 15 men on base against UMass and lost to a very bad team. Tonight they come out swinging and put 4 runs on the board in the first. Well should have figured it would go south from there. This team does generate base runners, the problem is once they get on they can't get them in. A couple of bases loaded situations and can't get more runs. They manage to hold the 4-1 to the bottom of the 9th when Ruotolo has his worst game of the year giving up 3 runs including the tying run on a wild pitch. Daniello after leaving the bases loaded twice in the UMass game does the same thing tonight plus he also k'd with a runner on 3rd and no outs and the runner never scored. This is just unacceptable.

Was 4-4 going into the top of 10. Now 5-4 top of 10. ;)
But sure enough they hit a home run in the bottom of the 10th off of Maloney to tie game. Anything and everything to lose games.

... And then score 3 in the top of the 11th.

Perhaps not this time. Come home from a concert to hear UConn scoring three runs in the top of 11th.

They sure do provide a uneasy roller coaster ride most games...

Don't worry, Mahoney trying to give it away again in the bottom of the inning. Bases loaded

Could have been more than 3 runs in top of the 11th but Daniello grounds into DP with runners on 1st and 2nd. He needs to ride the pine for a few games and put Darras at 3rd and DH Sullivan. Daniello just leaving way to many runners on base.

Devin Over coming into the game with bases loaded, two out. Not a move I would expect of Penders in a conference game, but Mahoney was having his problems.

Game Over! Strike out by Devin.
Nice to see the kid come through. Ruotolo and Mahoney certainly did not have their best games tonight. Will take the W.

Let it start today. Top 3, down 1-0 we have 1st and 3rd 1 out and our best hitter up Melley and he strikes out and Davey gets thrown out trying to steal. Inning over, missed opportunity.

Starting pitcher Tabakman doesn't sound sharp, and that means trouble.

Top 4, another man Daniello thrown out trying to steal, then Siena k's to end inning. Siena really having his struggles this year.

2-0 Memphis after 5 innings. Tabakman has struggled some but to his credit has only given up the two runs. It could have been a lot worse.

Top 7 Siena doubles, nice to see, and then we finally get some productive outs, 2 ground outs to score a run and cut the lead to 2-1. However which is often the case looks like Penders went with Tabakman too long and the wheels have come off. 2 singles to lead off the inning and then in a sac bunt attempt as we often do struggle with bunts we throw the ball all around and commit several errors and now it is 4-1 and most likely the ball game.
