Scoring 700 points in a single season at UConn is very hard to do..!! Before Page scored 725 points (so far this season) the feat had not been accomplished since 2018-19. The roster of UConn superstars scoring 700+ points in a season is short. Maya (3 times), Stewie (2 times), Napheesa (2 times), Tina (1 time) and Katie Lou (1 time). Paige now joins that group. Here are the top ten 700+ scoring numbers in a season.

1. Maya - 868 pts in 2010-11.
2. Napheesa - 792 pts in 2018-19.
3. Stewie - 777 pts in 2013-14.
4. Napheesa - 754 pts in 2016-17.
4. Maya (tie) - 754 pts in 2008-09.
6. Katie Lou - 747 pts in 2016-17.
7. Maya - 736 pts in 2009-2010.
8. Paige - 725 pts in 2023-24. (so far)
9. Stewie - 716 pts in 2015-16.
10. Tina Charles - 708 pts in 2009-10.

Part of the reason this is so hard at UConn is the team often has balanced scoring. Sharing the ball to get a better shot is a Huskies trademark. Notice that Maya & Tina and Pheesa & KLS both scored over 700+ in the same season. Amazing...!! (Note - Thanks to From France and bantamlaker for some of these stats & the idea)

Go Huskies..!!
Go Paige..!!

She has an outside chance of hitting 800. Not bad for a pass first guard.
From my post in another thread started by DavidinNaples:

Paige with 725 points is only 67 points behind Phee for second place in single season scoring. If UConn plays only 3 more games Paige would have to average 23ppg to pass Phee. Make it 4 games and she’ll need to average 17 ppg to move into 2nd place. And look out Maya Moore if UConn and Paige go on a terrific run and make it to the finals ( 24 ppg would do it) !

Paige, for one of the many unfortunate Huskies with season ending injuries, missed out on showing her scoring ability and the chance Paige would have been Uconn's top scorer career wise. This year, Paige's different ways of scoring boggles the mind. Some are so acrobatic you have to ask "how did she do That"? Paige coming back next year is the best gift any one could give Geno. I believed Uconn missed out on NO. NCAA title 2 times , with the team they had, if. they were all healthy. GO FRESHMEN!!!! GO HUSKIES!!!! GO PAIGE!!!!

Remember that Paige comes back next year but still have the option for one more season in 2025-26, the COVID year next year, then the RedShirt year of 2022-23.

I certainly believe in Paige able to get second place in yearly points, BUT huskies would need a miracle in the NCAA tournament for her to pass Maya !

But afterall, we, as fans, are here to expect and talk about that kind of miracles during the period with no games. GO, Paige, GO !

YES! And then what's next? Social Security? :) Isn't Paige already 1 year older than the average college senior? I'm thrilled that she's coming back next year, but coming back after that just boggles my mind.

I would say, better than an outside chance. I’m expecting another 3 games at least, with the Huskies making it to the Sweet Sixteen. That’s 25 per game. If UConn makes it to the Elite 8 or better, 800 pts is a done deal.

If Paige wanted to she could still be playing here until she's 24 between her older age and extra eligibility.
