It looks like all three games will be streamed on UConn all-access. As someone who lives out of state it's been a little weird following a team intently this year when I've never actually seen them play.

Aaron Hill is the DH in tonight's game. Penders said after the Rhode Island game in the post game interview that Deroche-Duffin had to get stitches (I believe in his leg) following a base running collision late in that game. So perhaps DeRoche-Duffin is out of the lineup because of that.

Chris Jones says there is delay due to lightning in the area. Game time pushed back to 8pm, Connecticut time.

Down 1-0 now heading to the top of the third. Last three guys in Houston's half made contact on the first pitch of the at bat. Hopefully Cross settles down now. Houston is good.

Cross doesn't sound sharp but has only allowed one run in a game where Houston has had multiple chances already in the early going.

UConn offense picked up in the fourth getting the bases loaded but they couldn't score. Still 1-0 Houston.

And its the usual culprit, the 1 out strike out. Then a 3-1 count pop up.

I agree with you on this. Brutal half-inning...it doesn't look like Houston's pitching will be giving us very many opportunities to score so we have to take advantage when they give us something.

2-0 Houston after 4 innings. I wonder how long Coach Penders will go with Cross if he continues to struggle, with all those pitches in the dirt. Normally Penders would keep him in for 7 or 8 innings no matter what. But remember, the first game of the AAC tournament is on Tuesday in five days with a 4 seed vs. 5 seed game, and UConn could very well be in that game.

I picked the right time to write that last post. Easy 1-2-3 inning for Cross in the 5th.

It always seems this team has a rally in them, even if they don't make it all the way back. Bases loaded double by Sundberg drives in three runs.

Houston starting pitcher Lantrip leaves after Sundberg double, he threw 123 pitches.
