Both teams down quickly in the first.

In the second, Davey reaches first, steals second, throw goes into Center and he advances to 3rd, McDowell hits him in.

Montgomerie yields a lead off double in the bottom of the second but a pop out and line drive double play get him out of it unscathed.

Things getting silly now. McDowell with a 2 run shot in the top of the third to make it 7-0.

Radio guys just said the outfield and infield grass are mostly covered in snow at UConn but they're hoping that it'll be clear by next week for the BC game.

Damn this team is having fun with these midweek games...will serve us well going forward. Really wish we won the last two FAU games, which we really should have done.

They did say the dirt areas are free of snow, so I guess that is progress.

Taylor Olmstead pinch hits, and flies out to the outfield. The radio guys said he made good contact on the ball.

Montgomerie pitched well, but ran into trouble in the 5th. With the big lead, he stayed in the game and was able to get out of it without too much damage. Max Slade relieved him, and was able to pitch a scoreless 6th inning.
