Nolan gained a lot of weight. Last year Casey Cochran weighed more than Nolan does now, how was that possible?

Wow! I have a gym membership and have gone only 4 times in 6 months. Great article but I didn't enjoy reading it.

Funny how the weight gain for PN sounds like what Calhoun would have announced, but this time I'm more likely to believe it. Hopefully it is at least mostly true.

Good article. The program certainly seems like it is in good shape right now.

I remember a thread on here when he was hired. There were a lot of questions about how a "gymnastics trainer" could help a basketball team. I guess we now know.

Phil Nolan, 6-foot-10, who played last year at 214 pounds, is up to 237, Illian says.

Good read... I always heard about how hard these guys trained when Calhoun was there so you know Kevin Ollie doesn't take it light with the guys either..

Funny tweet with Nolan and KO today https://twitter.com/phillipnolan0/status/500807138462420992 #tentoesin

Can Phil dunk yet after catching a feed in the post? That's what I care about :). Seriously tho a great read! Exciting to read about the team wanting to get back at it after the championship right away!

Yah, training the pound for pound strongest athletes on the planet, who also excel at explosion, balance and jumping....and winning multiple NCAA titles in the process. Who would have thunk it?

Great piece by Dom ( who I've been really critical of here lately).

Enjoyable read and cool insight.

Boat's attitude is great and I bet it's also contagious.

Don't forget beyond the muscle, Ollie had a sports psychologist visit regularly too. He really prepares these guys for the rigors of a season. Mind & Body.

Diaco seems to be using many of these same techniques, too. We appear to be in good hands.

I rewatched the 1st half of the Nova game recently. This team is going to be just fine with Boat at the controls.

I remember - yrs ago - noticing the muscle on Olga Korbet , and then realizing that gymnasts were ripped.
