I like it because the school needs some stability in the president ranks. I think she has done a good job and has a good long term vision. Obviously getting into a P5 conference will be the big measuring stick for sports fans...but it feels like she has done the right things to position the school well.

If that's what it takes to keep Susan Herbst for another few years I am all for it. She is has a vision and is driving the university to step up big time (or should I say B1G time). A lot is going on in Storrs, the Med Center, and other locations. There is a lot of hate though in those comments to the Courant article, though. Supporters should share the vision we have in common with Susan - in academics and athletics.
