duck Yahoo exclusives.
I know. I find it hard to believe that a man of Pitino's character would allow such a thing. I mean a guy like Pitino would never get involved with something that crazy.

Not to mention the money was being exchanged for illegal services.
Bingo. If any of this is true and provable, they're in deep doo-doo and the title banner is at risk. If we got a postseason ban for players getting bad grades, I would imagine players participating in, and staff paying for, illegal activity would at least elicit a stern text message from Emmert to Jurich. Could be as bad as a letter.

Just look at who their coach is, the guy was bending over a crazy-eyed slag over a plate of spaghetti and meatballs while her husband watched, the crypt keeper is as slimy as it gets.

Lack of institutional control only applies to schools that play in the AAC. It's in the bylaws.

Related, reading about what Larry Brown is accused of doing, it doesn't sound too far from what Kyle Flood is accused of at Rutgers. Any bets if the NCAA even gets involved at Cable Box U?

its crazy how pitino isn't blackballed by media for being a serious POS . Instead they would rather toss JC under the bus

To be fair, JC's demeanor and behavior towards the media didn't do him or the program any favors in that department. Whereas while Pitino is slimy he does a good job of schmoozing the media.

Nah, it'll probably end up in UConn losing a scholarship.

This explains some of our recruiting woes over the last couple of years.

We brought a Dairy Bar to a hooker fight.

Is this why KO can't recruit?

You almost hit the nail on the head. JC never provided the media with escorts.

If this book becomes a best seller I would bet there are a lot of coaches and institutions really nervous right now. Hope UConn doesn't have skeletons in it's closet.

Funny how a lot of this stuff has been piling on the ACC's front doorstep since they chose a fake academic school over us.

They actually make the SEC look clean.

Louisville having a press conference any minute now per Twitter.

Expect strong denials.

Whoa, my mistake. Jurich saying they are investigating and taking it seriously.

Says that they first heard of this from a booster from Indiana University.

What? They heard about this from an IU booster? Completely bizarre.

Louisville's trouble is in the press release: "In coordination with the University’s legal counsel and faculty athletics representative, Mr. Smrt’s review was quickly launched to assess the validity of the information and the potential for any NCAA rules violations. The University, on its own initiative, notified the NCAA Enforcement Staff regarding this matter and has been in regular communication with them."

I would think that in your press release to the world you would not highlight that your chief concerns with the validity of such information are potential NCAA rules violations. You are an academic institution, and half your student body is women. The NCAA should be the least of your concerns. Unless of course basketball is a top priority for you which tends to distort your sense of perspective, which is why you got in this trouble in the first place. And of course, basketball is such a huge concern that even in your press releases you don't even have the presence of mind to lie and pretend this ISN't about the NCAA.
