I hate to break the news to you, but it really doesn't matter how you vote. Mass. will go to Obama no matter what. The Dem. line could be empty, and Mass. voters would still vote for it.

Same here in NY. It doesn't matter who I vote for. Depressing, isn't it?

You do realize there are moderates and independents in other states, don't you?

I am not sure what you mean by this statement. I know that there are some Republicans in Mass. and NY, and that those states have even elected Republican Governors. But the reality is that our two states vote for the Democratic Presidential candidate by a large margin, and I don't see that changing.

By "other states", do you mean you are planning to vote in another state?

On the other hand, if a dead crack whore is the nominee, I still won't vote for Obama.

That's the way many feel about Santorum.

I can understand some people not liking Santorum, I can't understand anyone (save his family) liking Obama.

I feel the same way about Santorum. Actually, I take that back. I can understand how a bible thumping hypocrite would love Santorum ... And the GOP is full of bible thumping hypocrites.

Everybody is a hypocrite. You, me, Obama, Santorum, everyone. Bible thumping has nothing to do with it.

    You need a new argument.

If Santorum continues to be baited (by the media) to only answer questions which have NOTHING to do with his positions on government & economics... you might be right.

I watched some of his early IOWA town breakfast meetings (speeches) well over a year ago on C-SPAN. When he sticks to those conservative issues he's great. As solid as Reagan or Newt or Ron Paul. He spoke totally off the cuff & unscripted... unlike Obama who always needs a teleprompter & written word. He knows what he stands for. Not what he should say based on polling.

Imagine if the media had asked Obama, at every interview & debate... about Rev Wright & Bill Ayers (the unrepentant radical murderer who ghost-wrote Obama's first book). THAT illustrates why the right so despises the press. They're part of the Democratic machine.

But my (honest) question for you is... exactly (specifically) what do you so fear that a President Santorum would do (that would make you choose Obama over him)? Balance the budget? :) I think you're confusing a man's personal values with his public political views about the role of government.

The Republican Party is by far the most conservative, reactionary major party in any industrialized democracy. Unless you are in favor of a feudal class society dominated by theocrats, you would be insane to vote for any Republican until that party moderates its radical beliefs.

He has a record of voting for big government, and deficit spending. He is a fiscal conservative in name only.

    Ah she don't care, she's dead. :)

Besides that's quite an assumption assuming it's a "she". ;)
