That's why I love Bilas and McDonough. Every other announcer ignores awful calls, they always call them out.

Yes, that is true but the lack of calls and some I still can't figure out played a roll in keeping Nova in the game. The Refs are part of the game and have an impact on the game.

Johnson Odom did the same thing on Saturday, all game, against Boatright. It was blatant then, too

on half the foul calls against Bazz & Boat, the only contact between the players was an extended forearm of the Nova guard

also loved Bazz's over the back call, when the only contact was the Nova player extending is arm and holding off Bazz while grabbing his shirt

after Saturday, I may be a tad bit touchy

I agree with everything said here but we can't forget the inbounds plays at the end. Our guards were getting held and pushed trying to get the inbounds and the refs did nothing. We shouldn't have even had to try to inbound. The fouls should have been called immediately.

I agree. This will change when Calhoun comes back. Right now everyone is piling on Uconn and the ref's are not giving Uconn any respect.

Tonight's refs were the 'Boston College' of the officiating world

End of the first half. Nova guy steps inbounds with 0.9 left. That should be our ball under their basket with 0.9 Maybe we do nothing, but huge officiating error.

And to think we still won the game.. I think this is the corner turning game. We won a tough game with the other teams shots falling. Our offense didn't look like complete crap, everybody was stepping up and it looked a lot like last year. Roscoe was on the floor a lot playing good defense and hustling for the ball. Alex was a presence in the low post and Shabazz just ran the offense. Lamb completely took over and was the scorer we all hoped he can be from the beginning of the season. Things are looking up.

Good points all...bad calls in the last ten minutes were at least six to one against UConn. One not mentioned was the blown out of bounds where they called it off AO when it was clearly off the 'nova player with a few seconds left...wish they could use replay like the do in the NBA to get those calls right.

Failure to call the repeated push offs against Boat then calling one of them a block on Boat was just criminal...but so was the timeout while standing on the endline in sutton's favor and the repeated travels and carries by Pinkston

I was at the game. The (very knowledgeable) nova fans near me were laughing at how many calls they got. They said it felt like the only game all year that they were getting the whistles
