To me it was. Stumbled (one of my great strengths) across this rebounding news from the stretch run and on thru both the league and the NCAA playoffs last year:
When thinking of last season's team, I think of Stokes being our most stellar rebounder. Others probably do as well. During the final 20 games last year, it was Stewart who was the Queen of Bounds for us most of the time The stats are not in front of me, but she probably led the way pretty close to 3/4 of the time down the stretch, with Williams tops about 3 times, Tuck twice, and Stokes once. (Stokes did lead often prior to those last 20 games, which comes as no surprise.)
So, we bring back some very potent glass cleaners and add a WHOLE lot more in Butler, Collier, Boykin, and Samuelson, who did an impressive job on the boards Monday night.
