Bad week for the conference with Cincinnati and UConn losing.

1) Boise - Kind of silly to put anyone above Boise at this point. Young team that is getting better every game.

2) Rutgers - Haven't beaten anyone all that good, but haven't lost to anyone either.

3) Louisville - playing down to the competition every week.

4) Cincinnati - road loss to a Toledo team whose only loss is in OT at Arizona. Still, a top half team from a major conference should win these games. Jones seems to choke in close game situations.

5) UCF - coasting to an undefeated record in CUSA.

6) San Diego State - Road win at Nevada is respectable, and showed it could finally pull one out against a decent opponent.

7) Temple - Putting them at #7 says more about the rest of the teams than it does about Temple.

8) Navy - Pulling out a 1 point home win against Indiana qualifies a team for #8 on this list.

9) South Florida - How did Holtz coach a team with this much talent down to 2-5?

10) SMU - getting ugly down here.

11) UConn - free fall.

12) Houston - giving up 72 points to SMU is totally unacceptable. I would like to see what would happen if UConn's offense played Houston's defense.

13) Memphis - still sucks.

Painful to look at. Hard to argue against.
