It's customary to celebrate when events reach 500, and we shall do the same with something extra.
You'll find couplets (well, some are 4 lines) that suggest something in music. Your task is to answer as a couplet (or 4 lines as you see fit). And there's nothing wrong in being goofy while so doing.

E.g. I give you...
Their fate is as a victim of the Amontillado Cask,
As they take issue with teacher in giving a task.

E.g. you write...
In Dark Side Pink Floyd stands quite tall
In trying to stop Another Brick in the Wall.

1..Was it just chance that the talented Franz
did not go wrong in inventing "the song"?

2..Chuck instructed a giant (who was long defiant)
To give a Russian news and ELO to choose.

3..Some French sisters introduced the Lord,
And a 60's tune hit Billboard.

4..An elephant's eye was part of the line
That Sheila's hubby treated so fine.

5..Paul saw something 1000 miles long
And insisted a link was nothing so wrong.

6..Twelve hours they went non-stop.
In glad rags, it was bop, bop, bop.

7..Our #5 a 'Jewel" saw fit
To intone good times as she did her bit.

8..Mr. W. A. M. had some Italians wed,
And another great opus was put to bed.

The test will be in THREE parts.

3..Some French sisters introduced the Lord,
And a 60's tune hit Billboard.
Domenique's "Il ne parle que du bon Dieu"
Were words from the Singing Nun to you.
(Weren't they Belgian?)

6..Twelve hours they went non-stop.
In glad rags, it was bop, bop, bop.
At the hops in our socks
We juked to 12 O'clock Rock

1. Might you be talking about Franz Liszt who never walked down that proverbial aisle
While inventing the Wedding Song that makes many aperson smile?
4. Forgive me for my reticence in getting into this poetic fray
But quoting another musical fell as corny as Kansas in August in answering Gordon McCrae

1..VAUC can't be faulted for his Liszt choice,
The 1st bride Franz picked was named Joyce.
But I another was on my mind
The Schubert guy is the one you need,
For coming up with Das Lied.

3..The Singing Nun says our noble JR,
Bringing Dominique, complete with guitar.

4..Methinks VAUC has some problems with meter
And his musical response could be completer.
Gordon is indeed the one sought here,
Oh, What a Beautiful Morning is dear.

6..JR seems in the ballpark as he puts on a sock,
But the accurate title is Rock Around the Clock
And we must note the singer named Bill
From a family of Haleys, if you will.
