Food addicts anonymous ?
I was going to say Federal Aviation Administration. But then I thought why would you ask for a clarification for a well known "agency". I tripped over it and it jogged my memory.

11. "Ride, Sally, Ride", although not written for the astronaut, became a kinda unofficial theme song for Sally Ride.

1 - Scots
2 - Plantegenets I'll guess.
4 - varieties of cherry, perhaps - I have a box of Ranier cherries in the fridge. I'll stick to it, but I will admit that at least 2 of the 4 clues are also a variety of rose, I think.

1..The rbny 4some get us started with the Scots, some in northern England too.

2..Knights and zorro here.

3..JC and sleep implore their loved ones to refrain from..?

4..With knight, everything comes up cherries.

5..To sleep, it's live free or die.

6..http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2015/06/22/supreme-court-raisin-farmer/28475623/

7..Sleep, sounding elitist, deigns to spell out the agency; geordi, without wingeing, also.

8..Like VAUC writes, it was an airline commercial. Now the juicy part is the honchos simply assumed that flyers
would bring wives, fiances,et al, with the reduced rate as incentive. Fine, but then the honchos direct mailed the guys at home
afterwards. When many wives saw the contents, they realized that they were not the ones that were taken along. Hee hee.
So, beloved posters, how did you miss this?

9..K9 & sleep peck it out in homage.

10..The English show their disdain for non-English names. We'll go with K9 and call him Giovanni Caboto.

11..Pinot's got the Lou Reed tune.

12..JC & zorro offer Russia, England & France. We accept.

13..Sleep & geordi name the Korean carmaker.

You got 11/13 in this section.

My maybe too subtle implication of an answer for #7 was the Federal Aviation "AGENCY". See below.

"I was going to say Federal Aviation Administration. But then I thought why would you ask for a clarification for a well known "agency". I tripped over it and it jogged my memory".
