This is a great compliation of people reacting to the scene. If you haven't watched the episode yet don't watch this.

People are idiots. :)

Take the shock value of Sybil's death, multiply by the number of significant characters coming to their ends all at once in GOT and add in major points for extreme gruesomeness in GOT, to come up with the relative shock number.

Not DB2, I have read all the way so far...

I hated the cliffhanger at the end of the last book. And why aren't the Dire Wolves bigger characters?

I think they'll become more so as the remaining Starks become more in tune with them (don't want to say more). You can tell that by which wolves we see through in respective chapters.

It's hard and expensive for the show to do the wolves properly. So for the most part they are left out. Sometimes I forget that this is a TV show and the budget isn't unlimited.

The yunkai scene was pretty weak due to mostly budget constraints. The show struggles with scale
And battle scenes, black water being the exception.

Love the show only on book 3 as far as reading goes.

In the earlier seasons the wolves were trained dogs, expensive and hard to use. Now they are all CGI which I imagine is also costly and if used too much look cheesey. The lack of wolves has always been one of my nerdy nit picks. I spend too much one of the asofai forum so the red wedding was spoiled for me. I still threw my ipad and stormed outside to smoke.

Dude, how could you go to asofai before you finished the books??? Have you already learnt the books' big secret too? Don't post if you have.

I think (hope) we'll start to see through the eyes of the wolves in future episodes. That shouldn't be prohibitively expensive.

What do you mean go to asofai?

That's the name of the whole series of books of which I'm on the second book. I'm a book and a half behind the show but plan to be ahead of it before the next season starts.

With all the nudity and sexual acts, I'm amazed at the number of children in the series. Some are age 4 and up. I find it hard to believe that they are not exposed to the porno scenes throughout the series. Grown men and women with full frontal nudity. If I was a kid in the movie I know I'd watch it somehow, someway.

Just saying.

Ahhhhhh, I thought you were going to the main wiki: asoiaf.westeros.org

Nevermind. Just don't go there.

Ohh i get what you meant. Haha you are so right. I do go there but only in the non spoiler threads. Still got spoiled though. I just can't help but go there to read people discussing the show. I don't have enough reader friends to talk to.

On screen nudity is now considered ? In 1980 that was usually rated PG!

Also, when you use for phone to video something to put on youtube (or just in general), hold the damn thing sideways. If you dont, the black bars take up 60% of the screen people!

For which episode, if it was but one episode, did Hold Steady write/play an original song??

The nudity is somewhat gratuitous IMO. Hbo has to fill the quota somehow though so I won't complain. If HBO didn't exist neither would this adaptation.

Dude, my youth relied up Porkies, Revenge of the Nerds, John Candy films, and associated B movies to get the necessary 'fix' for my mental health. Modern ratings are stupid. Nipple = XXX. :D

Plus the books are far more lascivious imo. HBO toned it down big time. This is NOT a kids series/books.
