The USC and OSU game is not listed on the live now page. So I had to search Ohio State to find it.

Yeah but they are assisting on 67% of their baskets! Of course their A/TO ration isn't that good at 0.375

Rutgers beat St. Joe's 78-65

Kahleah Copper had 30, & 10 including 3-3 from 3. She had only attempted 2 3-point shots before this year, and missed them both!

Tyler Scaife had 24, and was 4-5 from 3.

Rutgers made 8-12 from 3 in the game. So Cviv wasn't lying when she said in the preseason that they worked a lot on shooting the three.

Overall, we have a lot to work on....like not turning the ball over, rebounding, and interior defense needs major work....although our perimeter defense was pretty good. Also our freshman got a lot of minutes....and they showed some really good things....so I'm excited about this season.

Go to Seton Hall on Monday!

Dayton barely got by Yale at home. Not sure they're the same team UConn saw in the tourney.

Brianna Banks scored 20 points (8-15) and fouled out in her first game at PSU. The Nittany Lions beat Holy Cross in OT.

UD is not the same team that played UConn so tough last year as their two leading scorers, Malott and Hoover graduated, but they will be pretty good again this year. They should end up 1st or 2nd in the A-10.

Going to take some time to get used to seeing goose eggs for team's scoring in a period. Over 20 minutes, teams almost always managed at least 5 points at the worst, but for 10 minute quarters, it will be different. UT-Arlington scored 1 point in the second quarter on Friday, and Samford got 2. With the gross OOC schedules that many P5 teams are playing against the Single Limbed Sisters of the Poor, it's a short drum roll until some team gets skunked in a quarter.

Hey! Their vow of poverty alone should induce feelings of mercy from a nasty D1 opponent, but not cutting those those single-limbed players any slack is going completely over the top. Give them a break, OK ? :)
