I was at that game. Pitt had Sam Clancy who went on to play in the NFL ( not the NBA). I think Clancy played tight end. Pitt also had an excellent guard. Perhaps his name was Sammy Ells?? Not sure. The timing was early 1980's. Didn't realize until now that you are in my age group.
