It seems like an underwhelming hire, one in concert with our teetering on mid-major conference. The list of athletic accomplishments at UB is thin. I was hoping for someone seemingly well-connected in the power conferences.
It will take every bit of my influence as the internet's top-ranked message board poster, (New England region) and as someone who is 6'6", 250 on the internet to prevent Warde Manuel from reading this and then killing you. You have needlessly put your life at hazard.

Now I'm afraid. Still, what improvements did he bring about at UB other than the APR scores? And is UConn at such a place now where all we need is someone to shore up the academic performance of the athletes?
Setting aside BCS connections out the wazoo, the guy's overall career accomplishments and Buffalo improvements aren't exactly lacking.
Appears to be a talented up and comer. Not sure if he is really a part of the old boys club that we all thought we needed to help get us out. I hope he does well. FWIW, I still would have hired Flippy's mistress. Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk
What we need is someone with omnipotence. Or perhaps the ability to alter the space time continuum. Failing that, he seems like a decent hire, for a mere human.
