In my bracket, I picked 7 of the 8 teams (SMU instead of Gonzaga); but, I had Arizona winning it all. Damn. I cans till win office pool; but, Wisconsin has to sink Kentucky in the semifinal.

This is inaccurate. The first time they slid a 2nd defender on Towns in the 2nd half, he kicked to Ulis who immediately buried a wing/corner trey. The second time they fronted him with a 2nd man, the defense scattered at the top of the key and Harrison destroyed them from 3ft behind the line. Yes, Towns was wreaking havoc on Auguste, who was playing soft with 3-4 fouls the entire half. But was the alternative better? Once UK starts beating you outside-in, you've pretty much surrendered on that side of the ball. Unfair criticism. I think the better critique would be that they should've left the reserve in and let him guard Towns. He was more aggressive and causing more trouble for Towns without question. Not nearly as good offensively as Auguste, but they weren't going to the bigs down the stretch anyway, it was all running through Grant.

Oh well, hopefully that Dekker kid and Kaminsky can get something going against UK. Just watching Cal "coach" is hard. ND hits a 3 to put them up 4 or 6 I can't remember, Cal starts to signal for a timeout then looks to his assistant coach for reassurance that calling a timeout is what he's supposed to do there. Looked like a lost dog in pinstripes.

A lot of effort here for a spin job. That first kick out you mention, ND got right back out and Ulis actually started a drive and pulled back for the jumper. And Harrison's 3? That was from Lake Erie, they give him that every single time. That was there all night no matter what.
You mention these two, I don't think Kentucky made more than one or two other outside shots the whole game. In fact, they consistently missed anything that wasn't a layup. I agree with what you said about the reserve ( Colson btw) being better but you are way off on your analysis.

Actually Ville-MSU is a good game so far. Think Uof L will take it but rooting for MSU.

How did the refs miss the basket interference on the reverse jam there?

Shot clock shouldn't be much of an issue for Louisville in OT. We know Pitino only needs 15 seconds to get a good shot off.

Well thank God. Good night Louisville.

Am I asking for too much for Duke to lose now too? I'd be happy with Gonzaga, Wisconsin, or even MSU winning.

Harrell was a virtual non-factor in 2nd half/OT. Joins a few other 1st rounders who's stock might be dropping due to tourney play.

Yup, two ACC losses in a row, let's make it three w/Zags!

Every single team I've rooted for this tournament has lost so it looks like I will be rooting for Duke this game.

No matter what you think of Izzo or MSU, he gets the most of his teams in the tourney. Only 1 NC but his teams are always in the Sweet 16/FF mix.

Go Zags! No ACC teams in the FF is always a good thing. (Plus, it's Dook. Nuff said.)

Got 3 of my F-4. Need the Zags to win to get all four, but Dook is on fire.

Why do I feel this is going to be 8 against 5. Dook gets away with more no calls missed calls than any other program.

Calls seem fine. Duke is just cooking offensively right now. It's a long game. The two fouls on the big kid for Gonzaga don't help.
