I was thinking earlier, who has had a better fan experience than a Uconn Husky fan since 2000? I didnt want to include 99, even though you easily could, but what team in any major sport has experienced as much success as our Huskies in the new millenium? We are tied with the Pats...is there anyone I am forgetting?

The Lakers. Maybe not too recently but they do have 5 titles since 2000. The most in the period.

The New England (read region not pats) fan in general over the last 15 years has been spoiled rotten. I myself am a Redsox(04, 07, 13), NYGiants(07, 11), Celtics fan(08) and casually Bruins Hockey(11) to go with UConn MBB (99, 04, 11, 14) and WBB (00, 02, 03, 04, 09, 10, 13, 14).

It's enough to make you blush around people from Cleveland.

Yup, and whether your football allegiance is NE or NY (except the Jets, sorry) you've done pretty well the last 15 years. A lot of "back-to-back" championships as well.

A CT-NE fan in 2004 would have the Patriots SB, followed by dual MBB and WBB championships, followed by a Red Sox WS, followed by yet another Patriots SB.

Here's a cool stat:

Point differential for Pat's 5 SB appearances in Brady Era:

3, 3, 3, 3, 4

which totals 16 points. Or two touchdowns with conversions are the difference in 5 SBs. Really quite odd.

I can't imagine what it must be like to be a kid during this era. You know nothing but championships. Wait til there's a barren era. They'll be a seppuku epidemic.
