Boatright not Bazz.
There was plenty of talk of "the guards" doing it. Also, the idea that Boatright intentionally avoids passing to Giffey or anyone is dumb. What, he doesn't want to win games?

NG is an excellent spot up shooter. He needs to diversify his game more. Last night was a perfect example. 33 min. 3-6 from the field for 9 points. All 6 shots were 3 pointers. Would like to see a couple of pull up jumpers, drives to the basket, without being stripped of the ball, and cuts off screens taking it to the basket. Some of this May not be his fault if plays are not called for him, ie screens off picks.

Ive seen enough of the giffey talk without commenting. The guy is a knock down, stand still SF that needs somebody to create off the dribble suck his guy into help defense and then be kicked to for a open three. He doesn't have a "2" move to get open or shoot off the dribble thats why his shot attempts depend on how his defender is guarding him (sagging off playing help D, or playing denial D not giving him room to shoot). His never going to be a high volume shooter. He is only adequate at best taking it to the rim. And if you as the OP are really urging him to shoot more when he has a hand in his face than you are asking for are team to do worse, his FG% to go down and for him to get benched for simply jacking contested shots. Everyone that thinks he is an issue when we struggle needs to consider these things.

It's not dumb at all. Certain players don't trust other players. It happens at all levels of basketball.

Giffey is a great glue player who will hit you with a dagger when left open. Good D and rebounding. Those who want him to become Rashad (or John Gwynn) are barking up the wrong tree.
He has been getting OC's minutes so KO doesn't have it it for him. Neither does Bazz. Boat doesn't tend to look backwards much after he begins to penetrate.
NG is who he is and we are lucky to have that player

Giffey might be the 2nd best passer on this team...
