    Ordinarily, I would climb into the oven over this great news, but given that I think Louisville is heading for greener pastures, we'll need Temple.

    UMass can join the Big East one day and it will be fine with me. As long as it is as our replacement.

    Or San Jose State so SDSU has a natural rival like UCF/USF and SMU/Houston.

    The Big East cynicism is nothing like the Sunbelt and MAC message boards and a speculative merger. MAC fans are nearly suicidal. Who wants to play the 5th best team in Louisiana? Or Michigan?

    Those people who think I need to get a life (my wife included) will be pleased that I'm not the one surfing through MAC and Sunbelt message boards to see if they are more miserable than us these days. LOL!
