The rumor is Cuse was against UConn in the voting and JB does not like JC. I don't know what the relationship is between JC and JB, thought it was good but who know, but Cuse is not an ACC member yet therefore has no voting rights. I doubt they were canvassed for ideas either.Yup, plus they support UConn in the ACC. I no longer hate them. Cuse, I'm really learning to hate.
If you would have asked me 5 years ago Duke was possibly my least favorite team in all of sports, since all this realignment stuff started I've grown to dislike so many other programs more. I'll probably never openly cheer for Duke but I certainly have much less of a problem with them. Could care less that Jabari picked them, probably a good fit for both of them.
Honestly, why not, K is a fantastic coach. I can't think of a proven coach I would rather play for, can you? Self maybe? EDIT: Izzo would be my first choice.

I still dislike Puke, but my hatred has certainly diminished. It's tough not to respect Coach K and their players seem much less annoying than they have in the past. Other than Ryan Kelly, who is truly annoying on that team? Paulus, Scheyer, Wojo, back to Cherokee and Chrissy, et al were hideous. But now they just have a group of decent players who play hard and are actually fun to watch.
when i think duke i think of great shooters, raw guards and solid big guys who all do alright for themselves at the next level and do very well with duke and its system. he brings a gay, durant or melo type aspect to duke that they have not had in a while.
They had Luol Deng (albeit for 1 year). But I agree, that's not the sort of player you see thrive at Duke. Singler might be the closest thing in recent years, though he had nowhere near the athleticism.
Also, I thought Parker was more of a post player.
