This team, as deep and talented offensively as it is, really thrives once they start to get stops on the defensive end.

I just rewatched the Washington game. It may sound like an obvious thing, but once the team got active on defense, the game really started to change. Our offense thrives in transition. When the other team gets a made basket, our offense really struggles to consistently produce in the half-court. Kromah was obviously huge defensively with steals and getting us out in transition. And that's why I think its important to keep Kromah in over Omar (who doesn't do much defensively) and keep playing Brimah in the starting line-up over Nolan.

It may seem fairly obvious, but the team really needs to concentrate on getting stops. The offense will come, as we are talented and deep. If we can get stops, rebound, and take care of the ball, things will take care of themselves.
