Hudl -- Isaiah Wright 6'2, 218 WR/DB

2011-12 - Named 1st-Team CHSCA All-State as a freshman. Helped lead Holy Cross (Wtby, CT) to a Class S State Championship (34-27 over Cromwell).
2012-13 - Suspended from Holy Cross football team in week 7 of sophomore season, for an in-school incident. Did not return to football action the remainder of the season. Showed very well at the Super 7 Showcase that summer. Enrolled at Kingswood-Oxford.
2013-14 - Repeated his sophomore year at Kingswood-Oxford. Had 1307 yards (team leading 1118 receiving) of total offense, 16 total TDs (11 receiving, 1 rushing, 4 TDs on special teams). Recorded 40 tackles, 2 INTs.

Character was obviously an issue early on. Hopefully, the structure, academic expectations, and a change of scenery at Kingswood-Oxford, as well as his own social growth and development, have helped him mature as a player and a person. His HC at Kingswood-Oxford (Jason Martinez, former HC at Crosby HS, Wtby) is a no non-sense guy, who had developed a number of FBS/FCS players while at Crosby. Wright is a big, strong athlete. He's got a couple more years to develop academically, socially, and physically. Now listed as a 2016 recruit, he could be a big physical WR worth keeping an eye on.

I think he is also a cousin of Arkeel Newsome.

He has claimed a few offers over the past few months. Has offers from UConn, BC, Cuse, Rutgers, and UMass. Also has interest from Penn State and Ohio State. Can't let him go out-of-state.

We got to lock down all the 2016 prospects at KO

Come one, come all. Step right up! If Diaco can seal the deal with one, it may or may not impact the decisions of the others in his class. You never know.
