After watching the documentary, he is still arrogant and a dirty player. It was nice to see Rod Sellers and JC represented.

Nothing redeeming about him. My wife kept saying something good will happen, but it didn't.

I hope you didnt watch that instead of this ND game right now cause this game has been great and that was one of the worst 30/30 I have seen

Star, Are you Christian Laetner? Otherwise, I can't understand why you are commenting on my assumed viewing habits.

I don't know David, between this 30/30 and his new commercials I kind of like him more than I have. He was "dirty" (smart dirty, like Larry) but he had a plan all the time!

I was surprised he was pretty poor growing up. He just looked privileged. But the fact that his teammates didn't like him sealed it for me. The commercials remind me of the Dream Team. One of these players doesn't belong.

Also liked seeing the shot he gave Sellers before Sellers knocked his head against the floor. Still one of the best moves by a UCONN player!

If he played for us we would have loved him.
Maybe, but he'd still be a . I actually thought less of him after watching it. The dude is messed up.

I never truly had a problem with Laetner, any dislike I had for him, was mostly steered by him being a Dukie. But after watching the 30 for 30, I'll admit, I actually like the guy... and wish he had been a UConn Husky. Like Mau said, he was the ultimate "mindf-ck" on the court.... Much like one of my all-time favs Larry Legend.

I'm not a Laettner (or Duke) hater, but you have to be a little gullible to like him after that fluff piece.

I absolutely love the 30 For 30 series...not just because they're so interesting, but they usually do a great job touching on sensitive subjects. This one, however, conveniently left out the tens of millions of dollars he owes a number of former athletes.

Instead, the film tried to paint him as a poor little victim of senseless hate. And he was to an extent, but he certainly played up the role for the cameras.
