@_BonnBonn has not committed a turnover in 70 minutes over the last 2 games for #UConn. #bleedblue

#Rutgers' C. Vivian Stringer said #UConn's Moriah Jefferson's ability to be 1-person press breaker reminds her of Tasha Pointer

#UConn's Auriemma: said Moriah Jefferson was "unbelievable" & "when Bria (Hartley) is making shots she's as good as any G in country."

John A has also chimed in:

"There may no better point guard in America right now than UConn sophomore Moriah Jefferson. Without a turnover in 70 minutes over her last two games she has injected UConn’s offense with great confidence. She has been most remarkable."

She's a joy and revelation. Plain and simple. Her play is exhilarating and spellbinding. The recruiting services called her "electric" when she was in high school. She's more than living up to the billing. I don't know if she has a ceiling anymore, but Geno will say at the end she's done everything for uconn that every other great guard as done. And not be a broken record, but she is as close to Kelly Faris as it gets.

Just think Moriah is the one starter that has not made any preseason or watch list for any awards. Arguably for the whole season she might be the 2nd best player on this team after Stewie. Moriah won't get the recognition the other four starters will, but who knows by year end she just might. :)

The strength of the team is that by the end of the season Hartley, Dolson or KML might be the 2nd best player on the team.

I believe MoJet will soon be on the Lieberman award list. The Jefferson - Scaife battle this afternoon was a fascinating one. Great basketball by both players.
