Interesting trade - it made both teams worse.

Just wait until Carl Crawford and his .300 OBP shows up!
I was wondering if you were aware that Carl Crawford played 9 full seasons before playing for the Sox in 2011.

Update. The Dodgers are 7-13 since the trade. Adrian is hitting .233, Punto .222. Their other acquisitions are not doing much better: Ramirez .264, Victorino .234. Beckett has been decent. Although he is 1-2, he has an ERA of 3.38 and a K/BB of 24/3. They were in good position for the post season prior to the trade and as of now they would not make it.

The Red Sox are 6-14 since the trade with Loney at .250 and De Jesus at .000. Although they will miss the playoffs they will probably miss the payroll penalty too.

I was at the Yanks/Sox Thursday 10 rows up in our seats and saw DeJesus.......you're lucky they don't go to negative hitting (-.875) with this guy he's plain awful and overmatched at the plate........Phil Hughes looked like he was freakin Nolan Ryan vs this guy......he has no paryer vs a hard throwing pitcher and maybe less against breaking balls......the Mendoza liine is unachievable for this guy so he better be a magician in the field!!

The Sox are 2-0 since you attacked poor Ivan. He may have a break-out game soon.

I doubt he had anything to do with it offensively unless they are now hitting off a tee.............:)
