On the one hand Voepel called the game "oinky," by which I think she meant "stinky"; then she proceeded to tamp down her critique. I wish she had defined what produces "oinky" games. Watching TN and TX wander up and down the court, neither team looked as if it had a plan. Diamond, whose ability is other-worldly, does have a plan: give me the ball and move out of the way. Little Higgs seemed similarly inclined. This is not the basketball we admire so much at UConn. I don't know if the TN and TX coaches wanted something else, but the message, if there is one, isn't getting across. Someone said this all looked like a pick-up game; I've seen less "oinky" pick-up games.
