So how many more kids need to pick UConn over Louisville before we stop with the whole "we can't recruit in the AAC" stuff. Do we spike the football now or wait until Diallo does the exact same thing?
Personally, I still think the conference is a huge impediment to recruiting, which makes this commitment all the more impressive.

How tall is he today? I've seen him listed as 5'9", 5'10", 6'0" and 6'1" on Rivals, 24/7, ESPN.

The big question is who is the next shoe to fall and when? My guess is diallo first week of August and reclasses to 16.

The recruiting has been ridiculous. What gives? Seriously. It feels like post 1999 championship recruiting. Oh wait, we won a championship in 2014!

Always nice to wake up to news like this, even when you know it's coming. Winning recruiting battles against major [teams against which we have often competed, with some animosity] always feels good, whether or not Gilbert was anyone else's top priority. He's going to be a big-time player for us.

I agree. Thank God we have KO at the helm. Notice that his first words were about his relationship with KO. I've said all along that this would need to be a huge factor with the recruit to overcome the conference thing, and it was.

But what's most important here is welcome to the family, AG. Awesome news!

wait... diallo, bailey, and a big... but yeah Ollie is scaring a lot of programs now... we need to see if it can all mesh
