I was watching ESPiN last night after the game (or maybe it was this morning) and Stuart Scott kept referring to him as Griffey. Given the usual quality reporting of ESPiN, I can only assume it was on the prompter wrong. What a bunch of tools.

giffey's more aggressive rebounding, since the villanova game, and his quality minutes at the 5 when we went small, were keys to the run.
and the fact that he came out of his shooting slump in the second half of the championship game...friggin huge onions.

Early in the Villanova game, he bent at the waist, relatively straight-legged, for a loose ball that went to Nova. KO was VERY unhappy. Precious little of that thereafter. One of the many things that made the difference, and all were needed, by everybody.
