Napheesa is special. Look for "Collier" on a certain wall in Storrs.

Subjects include how he coaches after wins/losses, what kind of player UConn recruits, and Napheesa Collier--hint, he likes her a lot.

The actual conversation starts at 3:00.

Could not get the link probably due to the antique I am temporarily working with but good post anyway. Would have liked to hear how he coaches after a loss. My guess is he had to think about it as he has that task so infrequently.

He actually stated that he is harder after wins than after losses.

He said that after a loss, he is easy on the payers. That if you are hard on them, the next game can be a loss.

I thought this was the most honest and straight forward interviews that Geno has ever given. He was serious with all his responses and the interviewer did an excellent job with his questions.

A very good interview.

Agreed. A good insight as to how he and his team works. And works.

Nice. Geno has discussed some of the issues with recruits in other interviews not being taught the fundamentals so much anymore as they start to the way of the men's action with a schedule of just AAU games that are used as little more than showcases.
